Introducing Anand Vihar Metro Station
Anand Vihar is an important interchange stop for the Delhi Metro because it connects the Blue and Pink Lines. The station is a vital connection point in East Delhi, located in the Anand Vihar neighborhood near the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh interstate border. It is linked to the Anand Vihar ISBT as well as the Anand Vihar Railway Terminal.
During Phase III, Anand Vihar became an interchange station for the Inner Ring Road line. Passengers may find it easier to connect from here to other lines as well as locations such as Yamuna Vihar and Mukundpur, which do not yet have metro connectivity.
It’s an elevated metro station. On January 8, 2010, a 6.25-kilometer-long Blue line branch from East Delhi’s Yamuna Bank metro station to Anand Vihar was opened. On the Blue Line, Kaushambi and Karkardooma are adjacent stations. The Pink Line’s adjacent stations are IP Extension and Karkardooma. The Blue line runs between Dwarka Sector 21 and Vaishali, while the Pink line connects Majlis Park and Shiv Park.

Connectivity – Anand Vihar Metro Station
Anand Vihar ISBT, which provides quick transportation to several locations, is located next to the station. There are buses to Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand available from here, as well as DTC and cluster buses to Delhi. This station also functions as a hub for Delhi Metro feeder buses. The station will connect to Delhi-Meerut RRTS’s Anand Vihar station, one of four underground stations, as well as the Anand Vihar Terminal railway station and ISBT.

Token Vending Machine: There are two token vending machines available, one near the token counter on the railway side and another near TOM on the ISBT side.
Automatic Vending Machine: There are two automatic vending machines, one near the token counter on the railway side and another near TOM on the ISBT side.
ATMs: On the unpaid concourse, there are two PNB ATMs and one YES Bank ATM.
Toilets: Three Sulabh Toilets can be found nearby. One is located on the corridor leading to the railway station, another near the exit AFC gate, and a third near the Kaushambi footbridge.
Shop/office: WH Smith is located on the paid concourse near SCR.
