Sector 62 is located in the Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is approximately 20 kilometres southeast of New Delhi, 24 kilometres (15 miles) northwest of the district headquarters, Greater Noida, and 455 kilometres (283 miles) northwest of the state capital, Lucknow, and 18 kilometres from Connaught Place in New Delhi. It is bordered by the Yamuna River on the west and south-west, the city of Delhi on the north and north-west, the cities of Delhi and Ghaziabad on the north-east, and the Hindon River on the east and south-east. Sector 62 is located on the old riverbed and is part of the Yamuna river catchment area. It is well-known for its modern lifestyle.
